For 4 years, closest thing Vishnu ever had to family was a gang of bullying strangers forcing him to work in conditions comparable to slavery and a cold factory floor instead of bed time.

“I would everyday work for 16 hrs and then at 11 pm used to clean not only my workstation but also of those around me”

From age of 9, the boy was imprisoned in a dog house which to other eyes looked like a garment factory from outside in NCR with a meager salary of less than Rs. 50 a day.

Vishnu is just one of those 1000 boys who are illegally trafficked every year in NCR (National Capital Region) and sold as bonded labour.

Vishnu recalls the day when few strangers came to his house, talked to his parents at length as to how Vishnu going with them will not only help his house financially but also promised on bright and educated future for all other kids in the house. Since his siblings were too small, it was only Vishnu who went along with them. Every day in his prayers, he thanks god that none of his siblings had to go through the same fate as he has.

This brings us to a very important question of “Survival or Living for underprivileged kids and their families???”

William Wordsworth said “Child is the father of the man” meaning man is the product of his habits and behavior developed in the childhood.

There are so many organizations who are doing God’s work here, but do we sincerely think that is enough. There are more than 35 lacs NGOs working in India but how many of them are dedicated solely to Kids and their future in India.

We here @ SAY NO TO TEARS are completely dedicated towards this cause. Your small donation or volunteer work will go a long way in helping such kids. Please help us help those.

And yes Vishnu today is free from that work which he was into with the help of some good Samaritans. Today he lives with his family and goes to school.

*Vishnu is a fictional name.
